Living is not easy, but God already knew we’d face our share of troubles: “in Me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33. We often offer praise to God when things are going our way, but be encouraged to turn to Him and praise Him even in difficult times.

What did Jesus mean when He told us, “if thy right hand offend thee, cut if off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.” Listen to the explanation about how to practically and courageously deal with sin.

Though we may experience temptation, God implores us to use all our efforts to enter at the straight gate. Our old sinful habits and fleshly desires cannot make it through this passage, we must make certain sacrifices. But it is worth it. Strive, fight, and battle to get to the gate, and gain the ultimate victory.

Though it is a huge challenge, God tells us not to worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Heed the suggestion to surrender all our sorrows, troubles, and lives to Christ as He is the only one that can give us true peace.

Though we have many doubts questions in our lives, do we ever forget to ask for the answers? Recall Matthew 7:8 - “For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.” Trust that God will fulfill His promises, and go to Him for counsel and comfort.
